Join the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library for an afternoon of crafts, stories, and more on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Free parking for off-campus visitors is available in the Hull Street Deck. Hargrett Library is pleased to host this event in honor of Daniel Boorstin, the 2023 Posthumous Inductee into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame. Daniel Boorstin, a Pulitzer Prize winning historian, served as the Librarian of the United States Congress from 1975 to 1987. He was instrumental in the creation of the Center for the Book, which has promoted literacy, libraries, and reading since 1977. More details about this event TBA |
